The Village of Wellsville has provided services for our residents since 1857!

We take pride in being a municipality that plays a vital role in our community!
Our responsibilities include everything from public security and safety, to maintaining local laws and records, to providing low cost electric, water, refuse and sewer services to our residents.

More than merely providing services, we contribute to the fabric of the community that enables Wellsville to retain its small-town charm full of interesting history while adding the vibrancy of a larger community.
A picturesque countryside provides the backdrop for such landmarks as the David A. Howe Public Library and Pink House - and anticipated events like the Wellsville Balloon Rally and Lion’s Club Trout Derby - to create a nostalgic, family-friendly environment reflecting times gone by that most communities pine for.  It is our privilege to help keep it so.
