Public Works

The Public Works Department includes the Streets division, Wastewater Treatment, Water Treatment, Underground Utilities, Solid Waste and the Electric division.

The Public Works Department works on projects throughout the village that directly impact the residents. On a day to day basis crews will be out plowing, sweeping and collecting garbage from the community. The Electric Department is a Municipal Electric Utility, which is allocated power that is cheaper than most commercial utilities. This is a great asset to the Village residents. The Water department provides very clean water that has been filtered from its collection point on the Genesee River. The Waste Water Treatment plant is the largest in the county and processes liquid waste from the residents and neighboring landfills. Campers and Septic System maintenance firms also utilize the facility.

Planning Board:

The planning Board meets on a schedule. Contact the Village Clerk to determine when the next meeting is scheduled and to be put on the agenda.
